Teen Programs Image 2

Throughout the school year teens participate in at least one of our after school programs and many other choose the Art Center simply as their destination to hang at out after school. The teens who participate in our programs grow not just as artists, but also as people. Many of them will pursue art in college, and some may work towards becoming professional artists beyond higher education. But more than anything, the teens in our programs build a lifelong connection to the arts while becoming actively engaged and important in community conversations.

Beyond program participation, teens contribute a great deal to the Art Center as a whole. Their energy and perspectives inspire peers, other artists, the Art Center staff, and even general visitors to the Art Center. As such the young artists that fill our building help make the Art Center what it is, and we are grateful to work with them.

For the 2016-17 year we are excited to offer the following programs for teens, each require an application to be filled out - located on each program page. Spring 2017 will begin the week of April 3.
