CONTINUOUS SPAN: ARTIST TALKS + RECEPTION

Pooja Pittie In The Brightness Of Night 24x24

WINE AND CHEESE RECEPTION: 6:30-7PM
ARTIST TALKS: 7-8PM

Continuous Span: New Work from The Bridge Program features recent work developed by artists in the spring 2017 session of The Bridge Program at Hyde Park Art Center. Join us for an evening of artist talks by participants in the program to learn about how their projects developed and get insight into their studio practice.

Continuous Span takes its name from the continuous span beam bridge. Making up some of the longest bridges in the world, a continuous span beam bridge elegantly links one beam bridge to another, much the way that artists in The Bridge Program past and present grow and expand through their individual and collective connections.

Artists include: Jory Drew, Juan Guzman, Zachary Jesse, Janis Kanter, Micaela Krol, Grant Newman, Jane Norling, Pooja Pittie, and Toya Simmons.

Curated by Jim Dempsey and Tessa Harrelson.

Continuous Span runs June 29 - July 30.
