Read/Write Library Workshop: Making the Record

Each 45 minute workshop and discussion will feature different guest writers, journalists, musicians, radio producers, documentarians, librarians and more talking about how their work and that of others in their field informs the historical record and how culture is documented. This workshop asks us to consider who gets to create the record, what forms the record should take, and why do we value some forms of the record over others? Participants will also have an opportunity to record their findings via audio for broadcast over the Public School radio or on paper for inclusion in a zine to be added to the Read/Write Library collection, or document in another format of their choosing to share.

This event is held in conjunction with PUBLIC SCHOOL.
